Merle Ballaigues is President of Thomas International in North America and currently manages Thomas operations in Canada and the United States. She has over 15 years of experience in corporate consulting and sales management and leads a team of senior Thomas consultants who support a wide variety of national and multi-national accounts across many industries. Merle regularly consults Thomas clients on development of their senior leadership teams as well as facilitating Thomas Job Benchmarking studies. Prior to her current role, Merle served as the Vice President, Business Development for Thomas International Management Systems. She holds a Teacher’s Certificate from the Natal College, South Africa and spent the early years of her career as a secondary school teacher. Ms. Louise Provencher will be managing our Quota® business in the Québec, Canada region. Louise has over 20 years experience selling goods, services and technology solutions. Her background includes sales positions with Computer Products, Software and IT Solutions. Ms. Provencher is particularly adept at new client development and has won a number of sales awards for her market penetration efforts. Fluently-bilingual (and functional in Spanish), Louise has worked with the full range of companies (small to Fortune 500) and is versatile with all levels of decision-makers. A graduate of Concordia University in business, customer service has always been a primary focus for her. Dr. DAN EDGAR (Halifax, NS)

Dan Edgar began his sales career in industry automation, after graduating from Dalhousie University in Halifax with majors in Mathematics and Engineering. In 1987 Dan joined Learning International (formerly Xerox Learning Systems) to learn more about the “human machine”. Later he acted as Vice President of Corporate Development before joining Franklin Quest (now Franklin-Covey).
